How To Tie Your Waist Beads?

Tutorial

1

STEP ONE:

While standing, remove any layer of clothing that blocks your waist.

2

STEP TWO:

Think about where you want your waist bead to sit on your body. Traditionally, waist beads are worn two to three inches below your belly button, but placement is up to you!

3

STEP THREE:

Pick up your waist bead and wrap it around the area of your choice (waist, high hip, or hip). Do not suck in your stomach or poke your stomach out. Relax.

4

STEP FOUR:

Slide the excess beads down the string, so you'll have room to tie your knots.

5

STEP FIVE:

Tie three to five knots.

6

STEP SIX:

Cut off excess beads with scissors.

7

STEP SEVEN:

Add a dab of glue to the knot. Optional.

TIPS: Be mindful of where your waist bead is while removing clothing. Pulling your bead will cause it to break. Do not allow spouse/children to pull bead. Do not put chemicals on your waist bead. Save the extra beads to make an anklet or for repairs.
