I’m going to be completely transparent…

When we first traveled down our own waist bead journey, we underestimated the amount of lives we would touch and the responsibility that came along with this gift. At times we were overwhelmed and overworked, but seeing your smiling faces, witnessing the excitement after finding your perfect bead, and hearing stories of your daily battle to love yourself, helped us discover greater purpose. 

YES, we want to provide you with quality pieces, whether they’re made by us in Georgia or made in Ghana, but we ultimately want you to look yourself in the mirror and fall in love with the person you see and are becoming!  

BE INTENTIONAL. These beads aren’t magical, you are! Whatever intentions you set for your beads, you must do the work. If you select a bead with the intention of finding love, you have to be loving and be open to finding love. If you purchase a bead because you want to lose weight, you may have to exercise and eat better. If you purchase beads just to feel beautiful in your swimsuit or under your clothes, guess what?!? Put those beads on and embrace what you see! A successful journey depends on you, but we are definitely here to help! 

Why Body Favors?

Body Favors Waist Beads is owned and operated by sisters, Teia and Teshia! The name Body Favors came about by definition.

Body: 

“the physical structure of a person or an animal, including the bones, flesh, and organs"

Favors: 

“ approval, support, or liking for someone or something; an act of kindness beyond what is due or usual; a small gift or souvenir.”

 Every day of our lives we put wear and tear on our bodies. At times, we’re even harsh to our bodies. We’re judgmental to our bodies. We take our bodies for granted. We’re constantly chasing perfection, when we should be thankful for what we have now. STOP. DOING. THAT. YOU. ARE. ENOUGH. 

With that being said,

When you put on our waist beads, we want you to feel like the “baddest thang” walking this earth and we want you to be thankful for the body you were given! Even on your worst day, you’re still worthy and loved!
